Howdy ho friends. (I just called you a ho. pwnt.) Today I’m going to delve into a Blacksmithing guide. As with most all of the tradeskills in World of Warcraft, Blacksmithing takes a considerable amount of time and an even more considerable amount of coin to level it up. That being said, Noobstation.com is here to make that just a little bit easier for you. We’re doing everything but level Blacksmithing up for you (because that would cost ya!). *takes a deep breath*…OK, here we go.
Blacksmithing Guide 1-30
Leve yourself from 1-30 by creating a bunch of Rough Sharpening Stones. These are made from Rough Stones you get while mining. This recipe goes yellow at 15, so you might need to make a few more than 30, but not many.
Blacksmithing Guide 30-65
We’re doing this the same way we did the last set, only this time use Rough Stone to make Rough Grinding Stones
. This’ll bring you all the way to 65 but the recipe goes yellow at 45. You’ll need quite a few Rough Stones. I’d say around 80 just to be on the safe side of life. Woo! Look how fast we’re moving….
Blacksmithing Guide 65-75
Wow, this time you actually get to make something useful! Sortof. Copper Chain Belts are great for leveling up Blacksmithing through this hump. Goes yellow at 45 just like the Rough Grinding Stones so make around 40 of them. 60-70 Copper Bars should suffice for this skill leveling up period. (IMPORTANT: Save 10-15 of these belts. We’re going to use them later. It’s better to save these than to go have to make more of them when you need them)

Blacksmithing Guide 75-85
We’re back to the nonsense stuff again. Sorry. Make 10-15 Coarse Grinding Stones out of 20-25 Coarse Stones. Save them for later recipes also.
Blacksmithing Guide 85-100
More belts. Runed Copper Belts to be exact. 130-140 Copper Bars will suffice for this stage.
Blacksmithing Guide 100-105
Get yourself 5 Silver Bars and 10 Rough Grinding Stones (that we made earlier) and use them to make 5 Silver Rods. You should get 1 skill point per rod, so you’ll only need 5.

Blacksmithing Guide 125-150
Make 25 Heavy Grinding Stones and save them for later. You’ll be glad you did. You’l need 75-95 Heavy Stones. If you run out of mats before you hit 150, the most economical way for your time and coin is to just get more Heavy Stones and make more.
Blacksmithing Guide 150-155
Just like the Silver Rods, we’re now going to make Golden Rods. 5 Gold Bars and 10 Coarse Grinding Stones are needed for this set. Just like before, you should get 5 points in 5 rods.
Blacksmithing Guide 155-165
10 Green Iron Leggings should get you a point a piece, equaling 10 points. You’re gonna need 80 Iron Bars, 10 Heavy Grinding Stones and Green Dye. (When you go to buy the Green Dye actually buy 35 of them even though you’re only using 10 right now. We’re using 25 in the next step.
Blacksmithing Guide 165-190
25 Green Iron Bracers..that require Green Dye. See, told ya! Also, 150 Iron Bars.
Blacksmithing Guide 190-200
10 Golden Scale Bracers need smithin! 150 Steel Bars and 20 Heavy Grinding Stones (from earlier) are needed to fulfill this requirement.

We’re getting more stoned than atendees of the latest Grateful Dead concert up in here! (bad joke, I know. I’ve gotta try and make it a little bit fun to leve up Blacksmithing, at my expense or not.) 60 Solid Stones = 15 Solid Grinding Stones.
Blacksmithing Guide 210-225
15 Heavy Mithril Gauntlets will do here. You’re gonna need to pick up 90 Mithril Bars and 90 Mageweave Cloth. At this point, you can actually start selling the Gauntlets to try and make some coin back. I’ve never had any luck trying to AH anything below this point though.
Blacksmithing Guide 225-235
10 Mithril Scale Bracers is the best way to go here. You’re gonna have to pick up the recipe though. Only 2 NPCs sell it on a 30 minute respawn timer. Also, you can only have 1. Harggan at Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands for Alliance and Gharash at 45, 51 at Stonard in the Swamp of Sorrows for Horde. 80 Mithril Bars will get you done.
