The Best World of Warcraft Addons / Mods

Thunderfury

World of Warcraft Addons and Mods are more commonplace now that they ever were back at launch. Players and programmers alike are always looking for a better way to play our beloved WoW. But with all the influx and flood of WoW mods and addons, how can you be sure that you’re getting one that will actually HELP you in your task?

How can you be sure what you’re downloading isn’t spyware? My friends, this has been a long time coming. Here they are. THESE are the World of Warcraft Addons that you NEED to have!

1) Questhelper – Questhelper was originally released at Cursegaming.com in order to help us quest a little bit faster and give us some sort of direction (other than blizzard’s quest log text) so we could complete our quests faster. I’m happy to say that this mod doesn’t disappoint. It has constant updates, and while not as FAST as the paid leveling guides, it’s good for a beginner to get on his feet while trying to level at the maximum potential in World of Warcraft.

2) Auctioneer – If you’ve ever envied your friend’s gold account in World of Warcraft, this mod is for you. This WoW Addon gives you specific information about every single item on the auction house. It scans the auction house one time, then loads a database of the average price, high price, low price and recommended price you should sell your items at. This is a lifesaver as the data is always right on and listing everything at the recommended price without having to research every item you put on the AH is amazing.

3) Omen Threat Meter – If you’re big into raiding, this World of Warcraft Addon is for you. Essentially, this monitors your threat in any given instance with your group and gives you a visual identifier, so you can tell when your threat is getting out of hand. Many groups have been wiped because the big bad boss flings the priest across the room due to his threat. This will save you from that horrible fate my friends.
