Today, I’m going to go over the best threat generation rotation for you in hopes that you will one day buy me some fireworks…or lunch or something. So here we go, the Protection Warrior Tanking Threat Rotation in World of Warcraft. Boy, that’s a mouthful.

First, you’ll want to start with Shield Slam. It’s still the move that causes the most threat for us, so we really want to get that in as soon as humanly possible. This provides us with a good amount of base threat. Revenge comes next provided that you block, dodge or parry an attack. If not, don’t worry about it.

Shockwave is next in the threat rotation simply because it does good damage. Remember, as tanking warriors we shouldn’t just be worried about threat, but also about damage. Damage is a great form of natural threat, plus it helps out the group. Shockwave is great at satisfying both those criteria.

Concussion blow comes next. This is great for damage prevention, but it also does a good deal of damage when it crits. Getting this off during the beginning of any fight in World of Warcraft also ensures you get the stun in if it’s going to be a relatively short fight. Remember, the faster you blow this cooldown, the faster you get it back.

Now that we’ve got a base, stack Sunders and Devastate. Remember to keep using Concussion Blow and Shockwave when they pop. That’s about it gentlemen and ladies ! The Protection Warrior Tanking Threat Rotation in World of Warcraft is complete!

Oh, Also…Revenge every time it pops.

It recently came to my attention that I’ve been neglecting Fury Warriors lately. So sorry guys. Maybe if weren’t so damn furious all the time more people would like you eh? Ok, fine. We’re both wrong. Either way, I decided to write an article on one of the top adaptations of Fury Warrior Raiding Builds nowadays in World of Warcraft. Here you go, a full build with a talent by talent explanation by yours truly. Bang!

Furious Fury-Filled Furry Fury Warrior Raiding Build

First of all, Cruelty is a given, so I wont’ even talk about that too much. Even if you’re Arms you’d want that. Moving on, Unbridled Wrath is going to help your rage generation greatly even if it is just one point. I think we deserve more!..but I digress.

Commanding Presence wouldn’t really be worth it for a PvP spec, but since you’re going to be helping out all other Melee in your group, it’s worth it. Plus, It does improve your DPS to a degree. I just wish It didn’t take 5 points to max out. Dual Wield Specialization is what’s going to set you apart from an Arms Warrior, without this you may as well be swinging Marshmallows at your opponent.

Precision helps with your hit cap, but if you’ve already got it naturally, you can honestly skip it. The only reason I recommend it in this spec is because most warriors don’t make their hit cap without talents. Taking this talent to get to you hit cap will also free up some room and allow you to skip taking hit gems and enchants, so they can focus more on crit and attack power too.

Death Wish is a great cooldown as it boosts damage by 20%. Enough said there. Improved Intercept comes in handy for those times when you’ve gotta rush over to save the squishies or healer in your party habitually, though it can be skipped if your raiding guild has a solid grasp on the raiding experience and you don’t have to worry about coming to people’s rescue all the time. I’d recommend it highly though, as it’s much better to have it and not need it than the other way around.

Improved Berserker Rage means more sustained damage ability since you’ve got more Rage to spare. Rage isn’t usually a problem in the middle of a fight, but this’ll help you build a reservoir from the beginning. Flurry is great, Bloodthirst provides solid damage, and that ever important healing so you can recover some from boss AoEs or sudden spikes in threat.

Intensify Rage is there for utility as well as a damage boost. More cooldowns = more damage. Improved Whirlwind is extremely important as Whirlwind has evolved as one of the main bread and butter damage moves for Warriors through the years. Improved Berserker Stance grants 20% more Strength! WHAAAT? Totally sick and crazy. The threat reduction helps too. If you’ve ever been in the situation where you’ve actually had to hold OFF dps on a target because you cause too much threat, this is your ticket. Bloodsurge is overlooked by some new raiding warriors because they don’t use Slam. Slam is a great spell and can burn some time during your rotation, so take this talent and get in the habit of using it.

The other talents in Fury are self-explanatory. Moving on to Arms, you’ll want to take Improved Heroic Strike, Improved Charge, Tactical Mastery, and Impale. These are all decent talents, but the real reason we take them is to get to Deep Wounds (which is also useful to keep rogues from stealthing in PvP) and Two Handed Weapon Specialization for your Titan’s Grip. Cheers Furry…I mean Fury Warriors and have fun raiding in World of Warcraft!

There are so many World of Warcraft guides out there. But they’re all too expensive. If you just follows these simple tips in the World of Warcraft Warrior Guide / Warrior Leveling Guide, you won’t need any
other guides. Just follow these simple rules and watch the experience roll in as you plunder and pillage the land in World of Warcraft. Warriors can take a beating, but you need to know when to stop killing and start healing. It’s all here.

Warrior Leveling Guide Rule 1:

At the time of writing this article, Fury is the absolute number 1, best spec to be when you’re leveling up. Why? Well, because protection does no damage, making it take too long to kill any monsters in an efficiency whatsoever. Arms is pretty good still, but it doesn’t carry over the speed and reliability that Fury does. You’ll get bigger crits and such with an Arms warrior, but for leveling, you’re not going to see the consistency, which is exactly what we want. Spec Fury if you want to level up your Warrior Fast!

Warrior Leveling Guide Rule 2:

Always, always, always carry bandages. Bandages are going to be your bread and butter for making efficient kills over and over again. Think about it. If you don’t have some means to heal yourself after every fight, the time it takes you is going to DOUBLE or TRIPLE just because you have to sit there and heal up before rushing into another fight. Food is good too, but bandages are better. The reason for this is that bandages can be used in combat, and can be contructed right there on the spot in the battlefield from cloth that humanoids drops. Bandages, Bandages, Bandages are a must. BANDAGES!!!!!!

Warrior Leveling Guide Rule 3:

Always use your Rage enchaning moves. It might sound like common sense, but I’ve seen Fury warriors not charging into battle. When you first start the battle, the order goes as follows:

1) Charge
2) Bloodrage
3) Heroic Strike (or Bloodthirst when you get higher)
4) Hamstring
5) Heroic Strike
6) Bandage

Repeat this process as many times as necessary to get your victory. This gives you the ultimate in control, efficiency and damage as you progress from fight to fight. Remember, if you’re trying to power level a Warrior in World of Warcraft, every second counts. If you save 5 seconds on every fight, and you fight 10,000 battles, you can see how quickly that adds up.

Dawn breaks over the land. Clearly you can see the blood soaked fields and blades of the night’s carnage. Bodies lay in heaps as far as the eye can see and in the distance the light shimmers off. One man standing amongst the dead. As you draw closer and the dead is clear in sight, you cant help but chuckle at the fact, the dead are covered in flimsy cloth armor. What? Did they think that robe would truly protect them from that Warrior’s axe?. What a joke (casters lol pwnd, especially fucking Warlocks). As you draw close you see the man’s facing dripping blood and he shows not sadness or despair but a grin from cheek to cheek. His eyes glow as you approach him. He motions for you to stop. You do out of fear and respect. You sit in silence for what feels like hours. Suddenly, the burly man begins to speak.

“And i thought i was out of bodies to add to the pile.”

Fear runs through your body. Before you can react, you see a massive spinning axe and the cackles of a mad man bearing down on you. The last image that passes your already dead eyes, is the face of a blood elf priest who meet the same fate you now shall suffer.

In a nut shell, that’s the life of an Arms Warrior. If that sounds like your way of life then good, cause for me its the only way.

Alright, let’s kick this shit off. We begin with a nice little moves list that’ll help you achieve optimal DPS in your Arms Warrior Build.

PvP Arms Warrior Builds – Optimal DPS Sequence for PvP

Here’s the cookie cutter Arms Warrior PvP Build

Charge (when available) – Mortal Strike – Execute – Overpower – Bladestorm – Heroic Strike – Cleave

Alright. Now that we have that out of the way, we can move on to Arms Warrior PvP play. The Arms Warrior in World of Warcraft is best suited for large fights. Pick a target, rush & crush and when you notice the life of the horde scum (in my case) around you getting low you blast your Bladestorm and watch as your Honor Kills shoot through the roof. Ifyou have a moment don’t forget to hug the dead around you! (such a fun achievement to get). Also, never forget that Sweeping Strikes can always come in handy when you find yourself outnumbered. One last little note for you Arms Warrior PvP buffs out there – there isn’t a Rogue that can survive through a non stop slew of Overpowers. That is, if he even dares to come out of the shadows…fucking pussy (Kearo that means you too. Damn Rogue)

Arms Warrior Raiding Build

Here’s my custom built Arms Warrior Raiding Build

Let’s break down this max DPS list now.

Rend – Mortal Strike – Execute – Overpower – Bladestorm – Rage dump used on Heroic Strike and Cleave.

Alright. Lets get the rumors taken care of right now. in World of Warcraft, and in the realm of Arms Warrios Builds, Arms can and will put up as much damage as Fury does on any day (if you’re geared and spec’d properly). This build can cause a massive wave of damage and keep up constantly without running into the rage issues a lot of fury warriors face. The hardest part of playing this spec is watching your aggro so you don’t pull hate and cause your Tank to doubt himself (although he should, especially if he is a Death Knight). Just try to keep your flow of moves in a constant stream and make sure every spare second you have is filled with a Heroic Strike or Cleave, and you wont ever have another raider bitching about you not Dual Wielding Two Handers (Titan’s Grip). You know what they say! A man who has to swing two sword is compensating for something. My guess? A little dick.

With much love and respect, WoW the fuck out. Make sure to let Noobstation.com hear your thoughts on our builds, the game, or any random thought that pops in your head.
