Blizzard’s Fun w/ Advertising
You know, right from the very get go I realized something when playing World of Warcraft compared to MMOs of the past. Blizzard has fun with their games. I just recently wrote a post about Celebrity and Historical Easter Eggs throughout the game, but Blizzard keeps pushing it one step futher. Today, I’d like to introduce to you something that nearly made me fall over laughing when I saw it, but first, I’ll set up the situation:
I was walking down the street (because there is a gas station right up the road) to get an energy drink, and I saw an asian man walking upon the opposite sidewalk from me. I glanced back down after looking at him, but then looked back up to see his shirt. The shirt that he was wearing was none other than this one.
I nearly had to stop drop and roll to keep from laughing. Seriously Blizzard, Bravo on that one. You guys have a hell of a marketing team and honestly, I wouldn’t have thought of that in a million years. I’m buying one. That is all. I know I’ve just wasted some of your time….and you are welcome! =P
